From a team that has won the national championship many times, regularly participated in the finals and always made opponents afraid, now Sanest Khanh Hoa must focus on the goal of staying in the league.
Similarly, a team that is also in a dangerous situation is LPBank Ninh Binh. At the end of phase 1, both LPBank Ninh Binh and Sanest Khanh Hoa were out of the top 4. Ho Chi Minh City Police, Border Guard, The Cong, and Da Nang are the 4 teams with the highest rankings after phase 1, thereby winning tickets to participate in the Hung Vuong Volleyball Cup taking place from April 3 to 6 in Phu Tho.

In the women's tournament, the reigning runner-up team Duc Giang Chemicals continued to invest heavily with two foreign players Tichaya Boolert (Thailand) and Chepchumba (Cuba). LPBank Ninh Binh with the impressive performance of Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Bulgarian foreign player Miroslava Paskova, won all 5 matches in the first stage. The defeated team of Ninh Binh team had very strong opponents such as the defending champion VTV Binh Dien Long An, Duc Giang Chemicals, and the Bank of Industry and Trade.
In the women's tournament, 4 teams were also determined to have qualified to participate in the Hung Vuong Volleyball Cup: LPBank Ninh Binh Club, Information Corps, VTV Binh Dien Long An and the Industrial and Commercial Bank.
