Caught two subjects illegally possessing drugs in Rach Gia ward

On the afternoon of November 11, An Giang Provincial Police said they were continuing to investigate and clarify the case of two subjects caught red-handed illegally possessing drugs in Rach Gia ward.

At around 9:00 p.m. on November 9, at Huynh Man Dat Street (Rach Gia Ward), the police caught Nguyen Hong Hai (32 years old, residing in Rach Gia Ward) and Truong Thien Phuoc (31 years old, residing in Rach Gia Ward) illegally possessing drugs.

At the scene, the police seized a Jet cigarette pack containing a nylon bag containing white crystals suspected to be drugs. Both men confessed that they had pooled money to buy drugs for their own use, but were discovered and arrested before they could use them.

Currently, the investigation agency is continuing to verify and clarify the case.
