Election of Chairman of Ky Son District People's Committee, term 2021-2026

On the afternoon of October 11, the People's Council of Ky Son district, term XXII, 2021-2026, held the 9th session, a thematic session to elect comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee.

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; Chairing the meeting were comrade Vi Hoe - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; comrade Xeo Van Nam - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council.

At the meeting, the People's Council of Ky Son district approved the Proposal on introducing personnel, voted and elected comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district, term 2021 - 2026. The delegates voted, with 100% of the votes, to elect comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district, term 2021 - 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee thanked the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and delegates of the Ky Son District People's Council for entrusting him with the new tasks and responsibilities. Affirming that this is an honor but also a great responsibility, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung promised to promote his intelligence, make every effort, have high political determination, properly implement the principle of democratic centralism, uphold the pioneering spirit, unite with the District People's Committee to overcome difficulties and challenges, and together with the entire political system, continue to successfully organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 22nd Ky Son District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
