After 55 years of establishment and development, Bac Ninh Industrial College (BCI) has continuously grown, becoming one of the prestigious and quality vocational training institutions with the motto "Good teaching - Good learning - Good service" to achieve the goal: "Building BCI to become a school that trains high-quality, multi-disciplinary, multi-field and internationally integrated human resources".
Building the school brand
On May 19, 1970, according to Decision No. 53-QDTC of the Chairman of the Ha Bac Provincial Administrative Committee, Ha Bac Industrial School (the predecessor of Bac Ninh Industrial College today) was established. During the 70s, thousands of technical workers in mechanical, lathe, welding, forging, industrial electricity, civil electricity... were trained by the school, providing them to factories and enterprises in and outside the province. At the same time, it trained a team of technical workers to serve the cause of national recovery and development.

Along with the development of the province and the education sector, when the Law on Vocational Education was implemented, to suit the socio -economic development, to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of Bac Ninh province, the school changed its name to Bac Ninh Industrial College. Currently, the school has a total of 10 faculties, functional departments, 109 staff, managers, and lecturers. In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has about 3,700 students studying at all levels.
Throughout the journey of more than half a century, BCI has always made continuous efforts in education and vocational training, making practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. The school focuses on creating a unique pedagogical environment, based on the values: Order, discipline, objectivity, fairness, creativity and efficiency. The key occupations aim to serve the electronics and high-tech industries, while at the same time forming and preparing conditions for vocational training to approach international standards.
Building a strategy to form an innovative school management model associated with digital transformation based on the criteria and standards of a high-quality college with the following functions and tasks: Training technical human resources directly in production and services at college, intermediate and primary levels. Regular training aims to equip learners with practical skills commensurate with their training level, with health, ethics, professional conscience, discipline, and industrial style, creating conditions for students to be able to find jobs, create jobs for themselves or continue studying at a higher level, meeting the requirements of the labor market.
In the context of increasingly high demands on human resource quality, BCI always puts improving the quality of vocational training first. Achieving the accreditation standards for vocational training facilities is a testament to the efforts of the school's teaching staff. In recent times, the school has also proactively improved and comprehensively improved the quality of vocational training, with top priority given to investment in facilities, teaching staff, business connections, digital transformation, and green transformation. Improving the capacity of career counseling and guidance for staff, teachers, and employees, while updating the latest technology trends and creating consensus and unity throughout the school on development goals and orientations.
At the same time, the training program is built to closely follow the actual needs of businesses, typically implementing the 1+1+1 training model in a number of occupations. It is worth noting that the occupations trained at the school have received high appreciation from the business community, with the rate of students having jobs after graduation reaching over 96%. Many businesses have proactively cooperated with BCI right from the recruitment stage, showing their trust in the training quality of the school.

The plan to teach in-depth modules on semiconductors, AI, vision, smart factories and electric cars shows BCI's initiative in meeting the "thirst" for human resources in this key industry, contributing to realizing the goal of making Bac Ninh become the leading technology center in the country.
