Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command launches emulation campaign for digital transformation.

On the afternoon of May 13th, the Command Board of the Border Guard Force of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to launch the emulation movement "Innovation, development of science and technology, digital transformation, green transformation" throughout the entire force.

The units signed a competition agreement.

The movement aims to enhance the capacity for applying technology, build digital agencies and units, and cultivate a digitally skilled military force to meet the demands of the new era. The competition also aims to strengthen the application of science and technology in management, command, military and defense tasks, and the protection of sovereignty and border security.

According to the plan, the movement will be implemented from 2026 to 2030, divided into two phases. Phase 2026-2027 will focus on launching, organizing implementation, and conducting preliminary reviews; Phase 2028-2030 will continue to expand implementation, leading to a comprehensive review throughout the entire force.

Colonel Do Vinh Thang, Deputy Political Commissar of the City Command, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, delivered a speech.

At the launching ceremony, Colonel Do Vinh Thang, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command and Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, stated that digital transformation is not only an inevitable trend but also a requirement for the armed forces in the current situation.

According to Colonel Do Vinh Thang, promoting the application of science and technology will contribute to improving the efficiency of management, command, and operation; and at the same time create a shift in awareness and a proactive, creative spirit among officers and soldiers in performing their duties.

Awards of commendation were presented to individuals and groups for their achievements in implementing the Project on disseminating and popularizing the Law on Vietnam's Border Guard during the period 2021-2025.

Awards of commendation will be presented to collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the fight against drug crimes and in implementing the "Learning and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" campaign in 2026.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command awarded commendations to many collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements. Among them, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee presented Certificates of Commendation to the Political Department of Phuoc Tinh Border Guard Station and many individuals for their achievements in implementing the Project on disseminating and popularizing the Vietnamese Border Guard Law during the 2021-2025 period.

In addition, the Command Board also awarded Certificates of Commendation to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the fight against drug crimes and in implementing the "Learning and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" campaign in 2026.

At the end of the ceremony, the participating units signed a competition agreement, demonstrating their determination to effectively implement the proposed objectives.
