5 year old girl was bitten by a dog while playing in the park, causing serious injuries

While playing in a park in Phuoc Hai commune, a little girl was suddenly bitten by a dog and seriously injured in the face.

On December 8, Phuoc Hai Commune Police, Ho Chi Minh City, said they had received information reported by local residents and were verifying and clarifying the case to find the owner of the dog that bit a person and handle the case according to regulations.

On the same day, Mr. TVL (born in 1991) posted information and photos on social media about his daughter, THLĐ (born in 2021), who was being treated for a serious facial injury caused by a dog bite while playing in a park in Ho Chi Minh City, causing a stir among many people. Currently, THLĐ is being treated at Children's Hospital 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. TVL recounted that on the evening of December 7, he took his daughter to the coastal park square in Phuoc Hai commune (Ho Chi Minh City), at that time there were also quite a lot of children and D. was playing with her friends. Suddenly, a yellow-white dog jumped out from the bushes and pounced on D.

The incident caused D. to panic, seriously injure his face, and break his teeth, so his family quickly took him to Ba Ria General Hospital (Tam Long Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) for emergency treatment.

After treating and suturing the wound on the face, the doctors suggested transferring the child to the Tropical Hospital for vaccination, so the family immediately moved to the center of Ho Chi Minh City that night. After treatment at the Tropical Hospital, the family continued to take the child to Children's Hospital 1 for eye treatment, due to the dog's claws scratching and damaging the eyelid.

According to Mr. L., after the incident, the family quickly reported it to the authorities, but so far there is no information about finding the dog's owner. Some people believe that this dog had previously bitten and injured someone else, but the owner has not been found to deal with it.
