Concluding the Spring Fair 2026, spreading the impetus for trade.
After 12 days of vibrant activity, the Spring Fair 2026 officially concluded, recording many positive results in terms of participation scale, visitor numbers, and trade effectiveness. More than just a shopping destination at the beginning of the year, the event gradually affirmed its role as a comprehensive trade promotion space, where businesses, localities, and distribution systems meet directly and form new connections.
According to the Organizing Committee, the fair attracted approximately 500,000 visitors and shoppers throughout its opening period. Besides residents of Hanoi and neighboring provinces, the event also drew numerous international delegations from India, the Philippines, Belgium, South Korea, Japan, China, and other countries who came to learn about products and explore cooperation opportunities.
The large number of visitors and stable purchasing power provided significant motivation for participating businesses. Revenue at the stalls ranged from a few million to hundreds of millions of VND per day. Notably, about 75% of businesses recorded strong growth during peak weekends. Some localities such as Hanoi , Ca Mau, and Lao Cai continuously replenished their stock due to exceeding demand.

In his closing remarks at the Spring Fair 2026, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that after 12 days of vibrant, exciting, and colorful events at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, in the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of the days leading up to the traditional Lunar New Year, we solemnly held the Closing Ceremony of the first Spring Fair in 2026 - an event that vividly "depicted" the vitality of the country's economic and consumer flow in the early days of the new year; "left" many strong impressions in the hearts of the people and the business community; "spread" strongly the spirit of innovation, creativity, solidarity, integration, the enthusiastic spirit of labor, production, and business competition; and conveyed the message, aspirations, and belief in a new year of prosperous development for the country in the new era.
“As expected at the opening ceremony, the first Spring Fair in 2026, themed ‘Connecting Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring,’ has transcended the boundaries of a mere trade promotion activity, becoming a resounding ‘opening drumbeat,’ signaling a favorable beginning – a new era for the country – with impressive results,” the Prime Minister noted . He also pointed out that after 12 days of opening, despite unfavorable weather conditions, cold, rain, and the burgeoning e-commerce sector, the Fair welcomed over 500,000 visitors from across the country, along with many international delegations, to visit, shop, and connect for trade cooperation.
Furthermore, with over 3,000 stalls and tens of thousands of exquisite products and goods from all over the country, the fair has created a cultural and artistic space full of unique characteristics, perfectly depicting a joyful and vibrant Spring festival, encompassing a warm and joyful Tet atmosphere, opening up a journey of spring travel across Vietnam with many rich and distinctive cultural and culinary experiences, seamlessly blending folk traditions with modernity.
The greatest achievement of the first Spring Fair was connecting supply and demand; connecting businesses with businesses; connecting consumers and producers; connecting spiritual and material culture; serving as a place for shopping, signing trade and investment contracts, and fostering the boom in e-commerce in an environment of digital and green transformation.
“On behalf of the Government, I acknowledge, commend, and highly appreciate the responsible, dedicated, creative involvement and enthusiastic participation and support of ministries, sectors, localities, the business community, especially Vingroup Corporation, along with the vast majority of the people, organizations, and international friends – all of whom have contributed to the success of the first Spring Fair in 2026 – a vibrant “springtime symphony,” a “seed of prosperity” that we have sown together with much faith and good hope in the first days of the new year in the new era,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

This is vivid evidence and an affirmation of the nation's inherent strength, the power of belief, the spirit of unity, and the aspiration for self-reliance and self-improvement of the entire nation.
According to the Prime Minister, the success of the first Spring Fair affirmed that the Fair is an effective channel for stimulating domestic consumption – one of the important drivers of growth; a dynamic bridge connecting domestic and international trade; and proof of the strong transformation, aspiration to reach new heights, and the widespread presence of Vietnamese goods and brands on the global trade map, leaving a deep impression, positive feedback, high praise, and many new export opportunities from partners.
The success of the fair affirms the vibrant spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; it confirms the trust, acceptance, pride, and absolute preference of domestic and international consumers for national products with superior quality, modern designs, and high intellectual content.
The 2026 Spring Fair is not only a meeting place for consumer needs and products, but also a place where people meet and connect through the strong bonds of national solidarity and brotherhood. It is also an ideal cultural exchange destination – a place that captivates visitors, filling them with joyful smiles and hopes for a prosperous new year.
The success of the 2026 Spring Fair further affirms the unique brand of the Spring Fair with its distinctive values: It is a gathering place for the finest goods and regional products of Vietnam, high in quality, modern in design, and rich in cultural identity. In particular, it declares war against counterfeit, imitation, and substandard goods, focusing on community value; it is a bridge connecting traditional culture with modern economic thinking; and it is a strategic space directly connecting businesses with consumers, between domestic and foreign partners, creating a sustainable, green, and modern trading ecosystem.
Furthermore, it affirms Vietnam's confident stance in organizing regional and international trade fairs. The presence of international business delegations here shows that the Vietnamese market is an attractive, safe, and promising destination for investors, ready to welcome high-quality capital flows and green, sustainable consumer trends.
“ This achievement stems from the wise leadership and guidance of the Party, the decisive and flexible management of the Government, and the involvement of the entire political system, the people, and the business community with the spirit of ‘Party leadership – State creation – Public-private partnership – Businesses pioneering – National development – People's happiness’, ” the Prime Minister emphasized.
Turn "springtime opportunities" into year-round victories.
The Spring Fair 2026 has concluded, but it served as a spirited, confident, and proud "spring greeting," affirming that the country is entering a new phase of development with a proactive mindset, ready to seize great opportunities for breakthroughs. To further maximize the results of the Fair and transform these "spring opportunities" into victories for the entire year, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to take the lead in summarizing and evaluating the effectiveness of the Fair, drawing valuable lessons. The focus should be on building a strategy for more comprehensive and effective implementation of the "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods" campaign in the new context; fundamentally shifting consumer mindset from "prioritizing" to "trusting and loving" and "being proud" when using Vietnamese goods.
Ministries, departments, Party committees, and local governments at all levels must continuously improve the quality of Vietnamese goods through mechanisms and policies; continue to decisively direct efforts to facilitate the flow of goods, maintain the growth momentum of domestic purchasing power, and directly contribute to the economic growth targets of localities and the whole country. Especially with the upcoming Lunar New Year, it is necessary to strengthen market inspection and control, ensure the supply of essential goods and necessities, and prevent substandard goods from entering the market. A war must be waged against counterfeit and fake goods.
The business community is always at the forefront of scientific and technological development, innovation, and digital transformation – green transformation; taking business culture as the foundation, business ethics as the guiding principle, and humanistic values as the core; resolutely declaring war on counterfeit, fake, and substandard goods; conquering the world with products of superior quality, international standards, high competitiveness, and deeply rooted in Vietnamese intellectual identity.
