Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong - Senior Advisor, Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer (CIETT), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry; Head of the Ecotech Community - National Techfest, stated: “The Ecotech community has provided in-depth training on presentation skills (Pitching), business model development, product prototypes, and methods for developing and refining products for the finalist and award-winning projects of the Lam Dong Techfest program. This is also a platform to spread the spirit of innovation to the startup community. The award-winning project owners have been and are currently implementing their projects in many localities throughout the province, bringing positive effects.”
A prime example is the Black Snail Farming Model combined with agricultural tourism and experiential learning by Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhon from Duc Linh commune, which won second prize at the Lam Dong Province Innovation and Digital Transformation Startup Festival. "For me, these provincial and national awards are not only an honor but also a reminder of the responsibility to turn ideas into action, to transform projects into real value in life. Through this, I have been implementing the project in my hometown, creating more jobs, income, and confidence for local youth in Duc Linh and Hoai Duc communes – so that young people can see that in this land, it is still possible to start a business, to get rich in a decent and sustainable way," Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhon shared.

Through this, some promising projects have progressed further, connecting with investors, experts, and the province's startup support programs,” shared Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong.
According to the Head of the Department of Science and Technology: “The winning ideas and projects at Techfest Lam Dong 2025 come from young authors and groups of authors in the province in the fields of technology - engineering, agriculture - processing technology of the province's advantageous products, and eco-tourism models. Through these, the project owners contribute to raising awareness, building a spirit of innovative entrepreneurship, creating a ripple effect among a large number of people across the province; gradually forming an innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem for Lam Dong province; igniting the passion for entrepreneurship in the younger generation, and supporting the implementation of potential ideas and projects in the province.”
