Phuc Xa Flower Wharf is located right on the banks of the Red River, with the Long Bien Bridge in the distance – a "historical witness" of Hanoi . In the early days of the year, the flower wharf, with all kinds of flowers blooming brightly, offers people a new and unique photography experience.

From early morning, in the cold winter weather, many people flocked to the flower wharf area to take photos and enjoy the tranquil, romantic atmosphere along the Hanoi river. "On days when the flower wharf is in full bloom, I usually come here from 5 a.m. to capture the sunrise over Long Bien Bridge, and I also offer photography services if customers need them," shared Mr. Nguyen Minh Son (a photographer in Nga Tu So ward, Hanoi).

Ms. Lan Huong (27 years old, Hanoi) said this is her third time visiting the flower wharf to take photos. “I woke up at 5 am to get ready, changed into two outfits to capture the sunrise at the flower wharf at the foot of Long Bien Bridge. Having such a vibrant floral space in the heart of the capital is truly precious, perfect for both taking photos and relaxing.”

This flower-lined area is a collaborative project undertaken by local organizations including the Women's Union, the Veterans' Association, the Youth Union, and residents of Phuc Xa ward. From a riverside area, it has been transformed into a vibrant green space, contributing to the overall landscape of the capital city.

This year, the flower garden has been planted with many types of flowers such as sunflowers and rapeseed flowers… Beautiful images have spread on social media platforms, attracting a surge in visitors compared to previous years. The sunflower season lasts for about two weeks.

The moment of sunrise over the flower wharf, from about 6 to 7 a.m., attracts the most photographers and tourists. The most popular attire chosen by tourists is the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) or brightly colored outfits.

Besides capturing the sunrise, the moment of watching the train pass under the Long Bien Bridge from the flower-lined dock is also enjoyed by many locals and tourists who take photos.

The flower wharf, with its myriad of blossoms swaying in the sunlight at the foot of Long Bien Bridge, is a must-visit check-in spot at the beginning of the year. The flower wharf is located about 2 km from the center of Hanoi by motorbike or car. To reach it, you can follow alley 187 Hong Ha, or take the turn right under Long Bien Bridge.
