Ninh Binh After a period of closure for upgrading, the Dinh Cac - Tam Coc waterway tourist route reopened from September 2, attracting thousands of visitors per day.
Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh said that the Dinh Cac - Tam Coc waterway tourism route in Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area has resumed operation since September 2. The number of visitors coming to the boat dock to visit is about 2,000.

Many tourists had to wait for hours to board the boat. Despite the crowd, there was no jostling or pushing; tourists were kept safe thanks to the local authorities mobilizing personnel to regulate traffic.
According to the Department of Tourism, Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area is an important highlight that helps Ninh Binh tourism be voted as the most attractive and favorite destination in the world by many international newspapers and magazines such as Forbes, Business Insider, and Telegraph.
On July 8, Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area closed to restore the landscape, preserve and rearrange the organization, management, rules and regulations, and routes. After nearly two months, this tourist attraction reopened to welcome visitors on the occasion of National Day.

The Director of the Department of Tourism said that on the first day of the holiday, the province welcomed an estimated 32,000 visitors. On September 2, the number of visitors more than doubled, reaching 77,000. It is estimated that the province will welcome 200,000 visitors during the 4-day holiday. The most popular tourist destinations in Ninh Binh during this time include Trang An tourist area (more than 17,000 visitors a day), Bai Dinh pagoda (nearly 15,000 visitors), and Thung Nham bird garden (more than 11,200 visitors).
