This is the first case of dual-chamber wireless pacemaker implantation at 30-4 Hospital, and is also the first public hospital in Ho Chi Minh City to deploy this technique, and the fourth unit in Ho Chi Minh City to perform it.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Khoa and the pacemaker implantation team of 30-4 Hospital, under the direct support of Dr. Vo Thanh Nhan, Director of the Interventional Cardiology Center of Tam Anh Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City. The team implanted the device through the femoral vein using a catheter, placing the device in the correct position in the heart chamber with high precision. The intervention went smoothly, and the device operated stably immediately after the procedure.

Dual-chamber wireless pacemakers offer many outstanding advantages, including: Minimally invasive procedure, no need to create a machine pocket or place electrode wires, significantly reducing the risk of infection and complications; high aesthetics; helping patients recover quickly, mobilize early and improve quality of life.

The success of this technique marks an important step forward for Hospital 30-4 in applying modern technology to the treatment of arrhythmias, opening up more safe and effective treatment options for patients.
