Regarding the information appearing on social networks that the 1990 hair salon in Hanoi , when participating in the "Hair for Cancer Patients" program organized by Bac Ninh Provincial General Hospital in coordination with the Bright Tomorrow Fund, took 650 sets of hair donated by people to cancer patients, Bac Ninh Provincial General Hospital has reported on the results of organizing the above program.

According to Deputy Director of Bac Ninh General Hospital Nguyen Van Duong, at the "Hair for Cancer Patients" Program, the number of hair received from volunteers to donate was 703 sets, of which 50 sets were donated to cancer patients.

Currently, the above hair sets are managed by the Hospital's Social Work Department, awaiting handover to the Bright Tomorrow Fund.

The Bright Tomorrow Fund (of the Ministry of Health ) does not limit the number of hair sets donated to cancer patients. The number of hair sets donated is based on the actual needs of cancer patients registered directly at the Oncology Center.

Previously, on June 11, Bac Ninh General Hospital coordinated with the Bright Tomorrow Fund to organize the program "Giving Hair - Sending Love" to build a Hair Fund and give hair to cancer patients being treated at the Hospital.

The Organizing Committee accepts hair donations in 2 forms: direct hair donation; hair donation that has been cut, neatly bundled, and meets the standard length of 25cm (for original hair) and 35cm (for hair that has been chemically treated with curling, straightening, dyeing, etc.).

The report of Bac Ninh General Hospital also stated that the program received the support and cooperation of the Bright Tomorrow Fund and many philanthropists inside and outside the province.

Among them, 16 hair salons in Bac Ninh sent people to cut hair for hair-donating volunteers at the hospital, and also provided free hair-styling services for hair-donating volunteers at the salon.

The program is a social activity with profound humanitarian meaning, giving female cancer patients more strength to have a more positive spirit in life, contributing to spreading love, sharing and a good lifestyle to the community./.
