Bach Mai Hospital trains emergency response skills for FPT Long Chau staff

At the meeting, representatives of Bach Mai Hospital and FPT Long Chau agreed on many important cooperation contents in training to improve emergency capacity and enhance customer care quality between the two units.

Recently, at Bach Mai Hospital, Associate Professor - Doctor Vu Van Giap, Deputy Director of the hospital and Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Senior Director of External Relationsof FPT Long Chau and the Board of Directors of FPT Retail had a working session, agreeing on many important cooperation contents in training to improve emergency capacity and enhance customer care quality between the two units. The meeting aimed at the goal of both sides developing together and contributing to the digital transformation process in the medical and pharmaceutical field.

FPT Long Chau currently owns more than 2,500 pharmacies, 250 vaccination points and a team of 4,000 staff participating in vaccination activities nationwide as well as 18,000 pharmacists working in the pharmacy system. With a large scale and the need to standardize vaccination safety, FPT Retail expressed its desire to receive support from Bach Mai Hospital for specialized training in first aid, especially in recognizing and handling strokes, cardiac arrest, allergies - anaphylaxis, as well as enhancing drug counseling skills for groups with underlying diseases.

Training courses will be implemented according to a model combining theory - clinical - assessment - annual periodic certification.

At the meeting, Bach Mai Hospital acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Long Chau system in improving service quality and expanding the pharmaceutical and vaccine supply network nationwide. The hospital affirmed its readiness to accompany FPT Long Chau in training emergency personnel, organizing emergency linkage with Bach Mai Hospital and providing professional support in activities related to ensuring vaccination safety.

Besides training, Bach Mai Hospital proposed that FPT support AI applications in customer care and deploy tools to improve patient experience.
