Kendall Jenner is the new face of Stella McCartney's Fall/ Winter 2023 campaign. She is called "Stella's Girl" and the campaign is about the strength and power of horses.
Stella McCartney, 51, shared the campaign on Instagram, revealing that it was shot by Harley Weir in the Camargue in the south of France. Kendall Jenner posed next to horses raised by jockey Jean Francois Pignon.
In the series of photos, Kendall Jenner plays with horses and there is a photo of her naked, lying on the back of a white horse.

"A celebration of the timeless bond between man and horse. The collection is made from 92% animal-free materials, protecting the environment" - Stella McCartney introduced. She is famous for her love of animals and has not used any leather, feathers or fur in her collections since launching the brand until now.
Stella McCartney chose Kendall Jenner for the campaign because of her love of horses. She has been riding since she was a child and owns her own farm.
However, Stella McCartney's campaign did not go as smoothly as expected. She faced criticism and "stones" from a part of the public for choosing Kendall Jenner as an ambassador.
They said that the 27-year-old model had worn fur and leather and that she did not truly love animals as the Stella McCartney brand had long been aiming for.
In addition, some commentators said that taking pictures with horses is "exploiting" animals, not loving them. They wrote: "Taking pictures with animals, specifically horses, for a profit-driven advertising campaign is an act of "exploitation" of animals. The crew disregards their instincts, making them uncomfortable around lights, cameras and noise. Horses are not paid and do not have the right to choose their work or decide whether they want to work or not."
"I like the fashion brand for its mission and vision, but I find this campaign inappropriate, especially with the criteria of protecting animals and nature. This is just glorifying vulgarity and nudity"; "The campaign supports the "exploitation" of horses. Which many customers familiar with the brand have identified as cruelty to animals"...
Stella McCartney has not yet responded to the criticism.
