The delegation of the Party Committee of the Government took a commemorative photo with the key leaders of the Party.
Of the total number of delegations attending the Congress, the Government Party Committee delegation had 68 delegates. The delegation was led by Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Deputy Prime Minister, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee. The delegates in the delegation clearly defined their responsibilities to the Party, the people, and the development requirements of the country; and affirmed their determination to promote the spirit of unity, uphold responsibility, and strictly abide by the program, regulations, rules, and contents of the Congress.

The Party Committee of Vietnam Maritime Corporation is honored to have Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, as an official delegate from the Government Party Committee attending the Congress. This is a source of pride and demonstrates the trust of the higher-level Party organization in the leadership team of enterprises within the Government sector.
With the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development," the 14th National Congress of the Party defined the thinking, vision, and strategic decisions for Vietnam to steadily advance in the new era, successfully achieving the country's development goals by 2030, when the Party celebrates its 100th anniversary (1930-2030); and realizing the development vision until 2045, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945-2045).
The theme of the Congress is: “Under the glorious banner of the Party, united in purpose and determination to successfully achieve the national development goals by 2030; strategic autonomy, self-reliance, self-confidence, and strong progress in the era of national development, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily advancing towards socialism.”
The Congress will discuss and approve important documents including: the Political Report of the 13th Central Committee at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the Report summarizing some theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented Renovation process in Vietnam over the past 40 years; the Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025) and proposing directions for supplementing and amending the Party Charter; and the Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Central Committee. The Congress will also discuss and approve the Report on personnel work of the 14th Central Committee; and conduct the election process for the 14th Central Committee in accordance with the election regulations of the 14th Party Congress.
The 14th National Congress of the Party held its first (preliminary) session on the morning of January 19th.
At the preparatory session, the Congress unanimously voted to approve the Preparatory Session Program, the Rules of Procedure of the Congress, the Official Program of Work, and the Election Regulations of the Congress.
The Congress also elected a Presidium consisting of 16 members of the Politburo, a Secretariat consisting of 5 members, and a Credentials Committee consisting of 13 members.
At the same time, the Congress voted to approve the Report on the Verification of Delegates' Qualifications, affirming that all 1,586 delegates summoned to attend the Congress were qualified and met the prescribed standards and conditions.
