This afternoon (June 28), a conference was held in Hanoi to announce the Politburo 's decision on the transfer and appointment of the Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission. Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, chaired the conference.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented Decision No. 1311-QDNS/TW, dated June 20, 2024 of the Politburo .

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Son La province, ceased to hold the positions of Member of the Executive Committee, Member of the Standing Committee, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Son La province to be transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, on behalf of the leaders of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, congratulated Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong on being assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission hopes that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong will continue to promote his capacity, experience, and achieved work results, and continue to make efforts and work with the leadership of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, seriously accepted the opinions, directions, and assignment of the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; at the same time, he affirmed that he would continue to practice and cultivate revolutionary ethics, actively study and research theories, improve knowledge and professional expertise; uphold the Party's principles; maintain solidarity and unity, together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, strive to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong was born in 1972. Hometown: Bach Hac Ward, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province.

He is an alternate member of the 12th Party Central Committee, a member of the 13th Party Central Committee. Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La Province. His professional qualifications are Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Law.
