Hanoi Party Secretary beats drum to open new school year

School year 2023-2024, industry education and Ba Dinh district training has made many efforts to innovate, improve facilities and work quality and efficiency.

By the end of 2024, the district had 44/49 schools meeting national standards, accounting for 90%, of which 21 schools met national standards level 2, accounting for 43%. The quality of education for students at large and comprehensive education was maintained, promoting the tradition of "good teaching, good learning" from previous school years.

In two consecutive school years (2022-2023 and 2023-2024), the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh district was recognized for achieving 13/13 excellent work targets and ranked 2nd out of 30 districts, towns and cities in the city.

Contributing to that overall achievement, Giang Vo Secondary School students have won 1.741 awards for excellent students in cultural and scientific subjects at all levels. Of these, there are 585 district-level awards, 99 city-level awards, 10 national awards (2 First, 3 Second, 3 Third, 2 Encouragement) and 1.047 international awards (92 gold medals, 273 silver medals, 490 bronze medals, 192 Encouragement). Hanoi city leaders share joy with students entering the new school year.

In her opening speech, teacher To Thi Hai Yen, Party Secretary and Principal of the school, sent a message to more than 2.300 students: “On the first day of the new school year, I hope all of you will study hard and train yourself to live a useful life. Always remember: The future of your country and your people belongs to you today.”

Emphasizing the pioneering role of teachers, teacher To Thi Hai Yen shared and reminded the staff, teachers and employees of the school: “Kindness, a spirit of learning and a passion for discovery are inherent in every human being. Our job is to arouse, inspire and help those good qualities of students to be revealed and developed.
