A project commemorating the Party Congress – a symbol of the aspiration for self-reliance and development of Vietnam's industry and energy sector.
Taking place amidst the vibrant emulation of the entire Party and people towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, and also as a practical celebration of the 64th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Oil and Gas Industry – now the Vietnamese Industry and Energy sector (November 27, 1961 – November 27, 2025), the launching and plaque unveiling ceremony of the Central Processing Platform Foundation – Block B Gas Field Development Project holds special significance. This is not only an important technical event, but also a symbol of the self-reliance, creativity, and aspiration of the collective of cadres, engineers, and workers of Petrovietnam on their journey to fulfill the mission of ensuring national energy security and sustainable national development in the new era. This project is a significant milestone in Petrovietnam's development, contributing to the realization of the Resolution of the 4th Party Congress of the Group, term 2025–2030, towards the goal of building a sustainable, modern, and deeply integrated Vietnamese National Energy and Industry Group.

A significant milestone for the national key project.
The Block B project is a key national project, with the CPP (Central Processing Platform) being the heart of the project. The CPP platform, weighing 7,700 tons, was entirely constructed and fabricated by PTSC at its PTSC Center for Offshore Oil and Gas Technology and Engineering – a key industrial facility of Petrovietnam, spanning nearly 200 hectares and equipped with modern infrastructure and equipment, meeting international standards for offshore oil and gas and renewable energy projects. To acknowledge the value, scale, and significance of the project, on September 12, 2025, the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Energy Corporation issued a Decision to designate the "Central Processing Platform Platform – Block B Gas Field Development Project" plaque to commemorate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

A solemn ceremony was held to unveil the plaque and launch the project.
In an atmosphere of excitement, the ceremony included the unveiling and launching of the Central Processing Platform's foundation. This event marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the Block B Gas Field Development Project – a national-scale project undertaken by Vietnamese engineers and workers. The Central Processing Platform is considered a symbol of the "Mastering Technology – Conquering the Great Sea" spirit of Vietnam's oil and gas industry, demonstrating PTSC's persistent efforts, creativity, and outstanding capabilities in the field of oil and gas engineering and offshore energy. The completion and launching of the Central Processing Platform's foundation contributes to ensuring the overall progress of the Block B Gas Project, creating a solid foundation for bringing the first gas flow ashore soon.

As Petrovietnam's flagship unit in the field of oil and gas technical services, PTSC has been asserting its pioneering position not only in traditional oil and gas projects but also in the supply chain of offshore renewable energy projects. By participating in the construction and fabrication of key projects such as the central processing platform, wellhead platform, offshore substation, wind turbine foundation, etc., PTSC has demonstrated its leading EPCI general contractor capabilities in the region. The PTSC Oil and Gas Technology Center – where the ceremony was held – is currently the largest oil and gas-energy industrial complex in Vietnam, playing a fundamental role in forming the domestic value chain for the energy industry, and serving as strategic infrastructure for the development of Petrovietnam and Ho Chi Minh City in their journey to becoming a regional energy industrial hub. This launching and plaque unveiling ceremony for the Central Technology Platform Foundation not only holds technical and industrial significance but also symbolizes the intelligence, resilience, and creative spirit of Petrovietnam's employees, contributing to the goal of building a sustainably developing Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group that reaches regional prominence by 2030.
