Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang said: "Throughout the nation's history, great national unity has always been an endless source of strength, the key to all victories of our country. Thanks to unity, our people have overcome many hardships, defeated all enemies, and are firmly on the path of building a strong, civilized and humane Vietnam."
He affirmed that on that journey, Ho Chi Minh City, the city named after Uncle Ho, has always been a place where will, creativity and humanity converge. Ward 5, Binh Thanh Ward is a vivid example of that spirit - where every citizen contributes to writing the story of solidarity, sharing and responsibility to the community.
Secretary Tran Luu Quang expressed his appreciation when hearing about the simple but meaningful actions of the people of Ward 5: from “Green Sunday”, “15 minutes for a bright - green - clean - beautiful city” to programs to care for the poor, support orphans, the sick, and the disadvantaged. Initiatives such as “Binh Thanh - Flowers of Love”, “Solidarity - Love - Self-management Residential Area” or “Digital Education for the Elderly” to help the elderly access technology all reflect the creative and compassionate spirit of the people.
“Those actions, whether big or small, all shine with the same simple thing: People in Ward 5 not only live together but also live for each other” - the Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized.
According to him, Ho Chi Minh City is entering a new phase, moving towards the aspiration for happiness of the people. But that happiness does not only come from large projects, but also starts from the familiar things, each peaceful neighborhood, each friendly smile, each sharing heart. "If each neighborhood is united, each citizen is proactive, creative, and affectionate, the whole city will become stronger, more dynamic and happier than ever" - he said.
The City Party Secretary hopes that every resident of Ward 5 will continue to promote the precious tradition so that "each house is a cell of solidarity, each alley is a bright spot of affection, and the whole ward is a beautiful picture of humanity, civilization and self-management".
