The Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee and the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee were elected as full members of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of January 22, the 14th National Congress of the Party held a vote to elect the 14th Central Committee. The Congress elected 200 members, including 180 full members and 20 alternate members.

According to the list published on the Official Information Page of the 14th Party Congress, Hue City has two comrades elected to the 14th Central Committee of the Party: Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung - Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee and Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee.

The fact that Hue City has two members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam demonstrates the high level of trust the Congress places in the city's leadership team; affirming their role and mission in contributing their intellect to major national decisions. This also creates favorable conditions for Hue to continue implementing its development goals and tasks in the coming period, in line with the orientation of building a heritage city and a unique cultural and tourism center of Vietnam.
