In the first 6 months of the year, the economy grew strongly and fairly evenly in all sectors; the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) was estimated at 11.5%, ranking 3rd in the country and leading the group of 10 provinces and cities with the largest economic scale in the country. Agricultural, forestry and fishery production developed comprehensively; industrial production grew strongly; the New Rural Development Program had many important results; the state budget revenue increased compared to the estimate and compared to the same period. Infrastructure was consolidated and enhanced. The implementation of key projects and works, especially the 500kV 3-circuit line project through Thanh Hoa, was carried out drastically.
