On the afternoon of May 4, in Sam Son City, Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, cordially received the working delegation of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee led by Comrade Vu Manh Ha, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, who was on a visit to Thanh Hoa province.

Informing about the development situation of Thanh Hoa province in recent times, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Trong Hung introduced the province's ways to build infrastructure, develop economic sectors, attract investment, build new rural areas, ensure social security, and improve people's lives. In particular, the issue of ensuring social security for the people has always been a top priority for the leaders of Thanh Hoa province, in addition to attracting investment, developing the economy, ensuring national defense and security, building a strong Party and political system. After completing the relocation of poor people living on the river to shore, Thanh Hoa province is now determined to complete the construction of about 5,000 houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in 2024-2025.

The socio-economy has developed, people's lives have improved. However, Lai Chau still faces many difficulties and challenges, especially in attracting investment, investing in infrastructure construction, developing the economy, reducing poverty, and creating stable livelihoods for people.
