Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung is the Head of the Election Steering Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

According to the decision, the Steering Committee has 12 members, headed by comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The 4 Deputy Heads of the Committee include: Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to comprehensively lead and direct the election work, ensuring that the implementation steps comply with legal regulations; promptly handling issues arising in the process of preparing and organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Lead and direct relevant agencies to develop specific plans and options, prepare necessary conditions to successfully organize the election; ensure the election is conducted democratically, equally, legally, safely, economically and truly a festival for all people.

The Steering Committee is responsible for leading and directing the implementation of personnel work well, ensuring the promotion of democracy and the Party's centralized and unified leadership in personnel work; and directing well the organization of consultations to introduce candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
