Hanoi Party Secretary and Chairman receive additional tasks

(Dan Tri) - The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee appointed Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Party Secretary of the Capital Command.

On the afternoon of December 6, General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc visited and worked with the Party Committee of the Capital Command.

At the conference, representatives of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced decisions on personnel work of the Hanoi Party Committee's Standing Committee for the Party Committee of the Capital Command.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee appointed Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Capital Command, term 2025-2030.

Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang was also appointed by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee as a member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Capital Command for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang highly appreciated Hanoi City and the Capital Command for always ensuring the capital is safe, stable, civilized and well performing military and defense tasks in 2025 in recent years.

The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee thanked the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang for their attention, leadership and direction in implementing the capital's military and defense tasks in 2025.

Mr. Ngoc acknowledged and commended the results of the implementation of military and defense tasks of the Hanoi Capital Command in 2025.

The Hanoi Secretary also informed some general features of the direction and tasks of developing the capital according to the Resolution of the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee, building a modern capital with identity, peace and happiness; Hanoi sets a target of GRDP growth of 11% or more...

According to Mr. Ngoc, to achieve the set goals and tasks, Hanoi is focusing on perfecting the institutions to implement major projects to develop the capital such as the Red River landscape boulevard axis, the Olympic sports urban area project, and developing underground space associated with the development of the capital.
