Billionaire Prajogo Pangestu - assets of 41.4 billion USD

The list of world billionaires updated by Forbes today, billionaire Prajogo Pangestu's assets decreased by 521 million USD, down 1.24% compared to the previous update, to 41.4 billion USD. Currently, billionaire Prajogo Pangestu is ranked 43rd in the world.

In Southeast Asia, Mr. Prajogo Pangestu is ranked number 1 in the list of richest people in Southeast Asia.

The Indonesian billionaire operates mainly in the petrochemical and energy sectors, through companies such as Barito Pacific and Barito Renewables Energy. Prajogo Pangestu first appeared on the Forbes billionaires list in 2017, with assets of about 1.8 billion USD.

Billionaire Low Tuck Kwong - 24.7 billion USD

According to Forbes' update, billionaire Low Tuck Kwong is ranked 92nd in the list of the richest people on the planet, with a net worth of 24.7 billion USD. However, compared to the previous update, his assets decreased slightly by 0.52%, equivalent to a decrease of 128 million USD. In Southeast Asia, Mr. Low Tuck Kwong ranked 2nd in the top 5 richest billionaires in the region.

World billionaire Low Tuck Kwong is the founder of Bayan Resources, a major coal mining company in Indonesia. He also runs Metis Energy, a renewable energy company based in Singapore, and holds shares in The Farrer Park Company and Samindo Resources.

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong - 24.3 billion USD

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup , continued to increase to 24.3 billion USD, equivalent to an increase of 760 million USD compared to the previous update. Currently, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong has climbed to position 94 in the list of world billionaires.

In Southeast Asia, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong ranks 3rd on the list of rich people. His assets are only 400 million USD less than Low Tuck Kwong - the 2nd richest person in Southeast Asia. With the rapid increase, it is very likely that Mr. Vuong will "usurp the throne" of billionaire Low Tuck Kwong on the ranking.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong is the first USD billionaire in Vietnam with assets of over 24 billion USD, and is also the first Vietnamese person to be in the group of 100 richest people in the world. Compared to the beginning of 2025, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's assets have increased 3.7 times.

Billionaire R. Budi Hartono and billionaire Michael Hartono

According to Forbes, billionaire R. Budi Hartono owns assets worth 21.5 billion USD, equivalent to an increase of 294 million USD. He is ranked 113th in the world's richest people ranking.

Billionaire Michael Hartono has a net worth of $20.6 billion, up $282 million from the previous update. He is currently ranked 119th on the list of the world's richest people.

The bulk of their wealth comes from their investment in Bank Central Asia (BCA), which they acquired after the 1997-1998 Asian financial crisis. The Hartono family started out in the tobacco industry and remains one of Indonesia's largest cigarette manufacturers.

In 2022, the brothers took their company Global Digital Niaga, owner of e-commerce platform Blibli, public, raising $510 million in Indonesia's second-largest IPO.
