Mixed fluctuations in three regions

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (December 26, 2024) in the Northern region recorded a decrease in some provinces and cities such as Nam Dinh , Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang, all down 1,000 VND/kg, at 68,000 VND/kg.

Currently, traders in the North are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. In particular, provinces and cities such as Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Thai Binh have the highest live pig price in the country at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region have common live pig prices in the range of 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

On the contrary, the price of live pigs today (December 26, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded a slight increase in prices in provinces such as Quang Binh , Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh and Lam Dong, all increasing by VND 1,000/kg.

Currently, traders in the Central Highlands are purchasing live pigs at around 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dak Lak has had a continuous price of live pigs in the past few days, along with Thanh Hoa, which has the highest price in the region at 68,000 VND/kg.

The price of live pigs is currently fluctuating from 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities in this region.

Southern region

Similarly, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 26, 2024) recorded price fluctuations in the provinces of Long An, An Giang, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Ca Mau, and Ben Tre, all increasing by VND 1,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 63,000 and 68,000 VND/kg. Of which, Kien Giang, Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces still maintain the lowest price in the region at 63,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today continued to increase in the Central Highlands and the South, while the price in the North decreased after many consecutive days of price increases. According to a survey, the price of live pigs nationwide is commonly fluctuating from 63,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
