The “National Unity Day” is usually held on weekends to facilitate the participation of a large number of people. During this time, workers and students are off work and can gather with their families and neighbors to participate in meaningful activities.

This is also an opportunity for everyone to review the tradition of national solidarity, share experiences, join hands to build cultural residential areas, and contribute to strengthening the great national solidarity bloc.
Hung Phuoc Commune (Dong Nai Province) has 54km of border adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia; the total area of the commune is over 18,718 hectares, the population is over 12,200 people, of which ethnic minorities account for 26.47%.
Since the beginning of November 2025, residential areas in Hung Phuoc commune have organized the "National Great Unity" Festival. At the festival, delegates and people together reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , and at the same time evaluated the results of emulation movements and campaigns in residential areas in 2025.
Notable movements include "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "All people protect national security", along with many activities to care for people's lives and build a strong great solidarity bloc.

The festival atmosphere was more bustling with mass art performances and folk games. These were gifts with spiritual meaning, contributing to encouraging people to unite and strive to build a prosperous and happy life.
Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Hung Phuoc Commune Nguyen Thi Hong said that the "National Great Unity" Festival is an opportunity to recognize and commend the achievements that residential areas have achieved in the past year; at the same time, encourage, motivate and call on people to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, actively participate in movements, contributing to building villages and hamlets to be more and more developed, civilized and prosperous.

Bu Gia Map is the commune with the highest proportion of ethnic minorities in Dong Nai province, with 75% of the population, and is also the commune with the highest number of poor households in the province, accounting for 7.15% of the population. The commune borders the Kingdom of Cambodia with a 45km long border, with 4 border posts.

Due to its low starting point, Bu Gia Map is one of the most difficult localities in Dong Nai province: the infrastructure is still lacking and weak, the commune has not yet completed 7/19 new rural criteria...
In order to promote the spirit of solidarity among ethnic groups to join hands and build a prosperous Bu Gia Map, the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune went to the residential area to attend the "Great National Unity" Festival in 2025. Thereby, calling on people to join forces to build infrastructure, develop family economy , and take advantage of all potentials and advantages to make the locality break through and develop sustainably.

Attending the "National Great Unity" Festival in Dak Con village, comrade Le Hoang Nam, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bu Gia Map commune, praised the achievements of the Party cell, village committee, and village front working committee in the past time, especially during the period of merging the two-level local government. At the same time, he asked the village executive committee to continue promoting the achievements, promoting the spirit of the strength of the great national unity bloc to help the Party Committee and government complete and exceed the targets set out in the Resolution of the 1st Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

On the occasion of the "Great National Unity" Festival, comrade Le Hoang Nam commended the "Typical Residential Area in 2025" and honored 5 typical households, in which the typical residential area was awarded 10 million VND, each typical individual received 1 million VND; awarded 10 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the village, each gift worth about 400,000 VND/person.

Also at the festival, people participated in traditional games of ethnic minorities, such as bamboo jumping, throwing con, cultural and artistic activities and attended a great solidarity meal.
Comrade Le Hoang Nam added: "The activities of the "National Great Unity" Festival have truly become an opportunity for the people in the village to strengthen their village and neighborhood ties, promote the strength of the great unity bloc, and contribute to building Bu Gia Map commune to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized."
At Cha La hamlet, Loc Thanh commune (Dong Nai province), the "Great National Unity" Festival was held with the participation of Dong Nai province leaders and especially border police stations, leaders of Kra Vien commune, Me Mot district, Tbong Khmum province, Kingdom of Cambodia - a locality bordering Loc Thanh commune.

Cha La Hamlet currently has 365 households with 1,459 people, of which ethnic minorities account for about 80%. Most of the people are farmers, with main crops such as rubber, cashew and rice.
Director of Dong Nai Province Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Huu Dinh came to celebrate the festival with the people and commended and congratulated the outstanding achievements of Cha La hamlet and Loc Thanh commune in recent times.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Dinh suggested that the locality continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, link patriotic emulation movements; step up propaganda, effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", take care of social security work, support poor households and households in difficult circumstances, contributing to strengthening people's trust.
At the same time, people-to-people exchanges in border areas are strengthened to build solidarity and friendship between localities on both sides of the border. Through cultural, sports and trade exchanges, people can understand, share and support each other in life and economic development.

This is also an opportunity to promote the image of the homeland, promote cooperation, maintain security and order in the border area. The close relationships between the people are the solid foundation for peace, stability and long-term sustainable development.
The “National Great Unity” Festival is not only an occasion to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, but also a bridge to strengthen solidarity and cohesion among ethnic groups, villages and hamlets in the province. From that exciting and affectionate atmosphere, the spirit of great unity continues to spread strongly, becoming a driving force for people to work together to build their homeland Dong Nai to become increasingly rich, civilized and sustainably developed.
