Dong Thap Border Guard held talks with Prey Veng Police Department (Cambodia)

On the afternoon of November 14, at the Dinh Ba International Border Gate Inter-sectoral Control Station, Tan Ho Co Commune, Dong Thap Province, a meeting was held to evaluate the results of coordination work in the second and third quarters and set out directions for the fourth quarter of 2025 between the Dong Thap Border Guard's Professional Departments and Battalion 607 of the Border Protection Police under the Prey Veng Police Department (Cambodia).

The two sides signed the minutes at the meeting.

According to the assessment of cooperation results from May 16 to October 10, the two sides exchanged information 25 times, mainly related to the situation on the border.

The two sides coordinated to resolve 2 cases/39 people mainly related to traffic accidents, illegal entry and exit, and illegal transportation of goods across the border.

Propaganda was carried out for 1,200 people, thereby raising people's awareness, improving law enforcement in each country, contributing to building a peaceful , stable, cooperative and developing border.

In addition, the two sides also regularly hold periodic talks and organize delegations to visit and congratulate each other on the occasion of holidays and New Year of the two nations.

At the talks, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to continue close coordination, ensure political security, social order and safety in the border area, create conditions for people on both sides of the border to travel back and forth to do business, visit relatives, exchange goods and receive medical examination and treatment...
