Turning Dragon Fruit Garden into National Flag

Việt NamViệt Nam09/02/2025

Recently, the image of a nearly 9,000 m2 national flag made from thousands of dragon fruit pillars lit up at a resort in Phuc Yen city has been spreading strongly on social networking platforms and creating many positive effects.

Stemming from the desire to bring agricultural experiences closer to tourists in and outside the province, La Pitaya Valley Phuc Yen resort started implementing the idea in November 2024 with the goal of completing the 8,800 m2 flag. So that tourists can enter the garden at night, ensuring both safety and aesthetics, the unit used outdoor cables to light up the lights. After solving the safety problem, the technical team proceeded to balance the ratio of the flag and the star.

As soon as the flag was completed and posted on social networks, it attracted more than 2 million views and hundreds of thousands of shares. The image of the national flag from the dragon fruit garden not only shows the pride of the Vietnamese people in the national flag. It also shows the creativity and innovation in the way Vinh Phuc does agricultural tourism to promote and attract tourists in the new year.
