In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, Vietnamese artists have been busy preparing to welcome the new year with spaces filled with the colors of spring and meaningful activities preserving traditional culture.

Singer and actress Chi Pu transformed her home into a vibrant spring space with pastel pink as the dominant color. The artist wore an orange, lace-embroidered ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) and sat beside a giant basket of hydrangeas in soft pink. The bouquet was designed in a heart shape and tied with delicate silk ribbon.

Behind her, a branch of blossoming peach blossoms sits in a tall vase, evoking the festive atmosphere of Tet in Northern Vietnam. The living room is designed in a neoclassical style with a predominantly white color scheme and a ceiling adorned with delicate gold patterns. Chi Pu also prepared a branch of yellow apricot blossoms decorated with a five-colored horse mascot, and lucky red lanterns, symbolizing the Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ).

Miss Ao Dai Ho Chi Minh City 1989, Do Kieu Khanh, transformed her home into a spring-themed space with red as the dominant color. She wore a high-quality, deep red lace ao dai and styled her hair in youthful braids on both sides.

The most striking feature is the giant, elaborately decorated apricot blossom tree adorned with folded paper fans, lanterns, and vibrant red fireworks, while the wall is prominently decorated with a herd of galloping black horses, symbolizing the Year of the Horse.

The living room was decorated with peach blossoms, dark red folding paper fans, dried branches adorned with buttercups, and silk lanterns. Do Kieu Khanh also designed a photo corner with banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) and a pot of bright yellow chrysanthemums.

Singer Minh Quân also filled his house with the colors of spring, adorned with delicate pink peach blossoms. The male singer shared his joy and expressed his sincere gratitude to his friends for the Tet gifts such as wine, chocolate, and salted cashew nut cookies.

Inside the singer's house, a peach blossom tree with hundreds of pink blossoms in full bloom, arranged in classic blue and white ceramic vases, is decorated with pretty little lanterns, lucky gold charms, and traditional Tet mascots.

The luxurious neoclassical living room features a magnificent gold crystal chandelier. Paintings in orange and yellow tones adorn the walls, including a picture of a galloping horse.

The ancestral altar corner features a black wooden altar carved with dragons and phoenixes, a wooden screen inlaid with the golden character for longevity, and a wooden wall with East Asian patterns. On the altar are displayed a full platter of five kinds of fruit, a high-end Tet gift box, red wine, chocolates, fresh yellow chrysanthemums, and red roses.

Meanwhile, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi brought a traditional Tet image by personally selecting and buying banana leaves – the ingredient for making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes). She then wrapped the cakes herself using string in the traditional way.

The Tet (Lunar New Year) atmosphere in the spacious garden of the artist's family villa resembles a nostalgic painting of a Southern Vietnamese village. The highlight is a charming little thatched hut with a roof made of dried coconut leaves, inside which hangs red couplets. Next to it is a house with an earthen floor painted yellow, with green window frames, and calligraphy and paper fans adorning the walls.

In front of the house, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi arranged a traditional wooden table and chairs with carved floral patterns, along with an old television. The table was covered with a brightly patterned tablecloth featuring peonies, dried coconuts, a vase of pink peach blossoms, and a yellow apricot tree, next to which stood a tall, vibrant red peach tree and pink confetti cannons...

People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi meticulously recreated this Tet atmosphere, which serves both as a beautiful photo spot and a reminder of traditional cultural values, expressing her desire to preserve and spread the beauty of traditional Tet to the younger generation.
