The owner's villa is located in a high-class ecological urban area of Hanoi . The villa has a total usable floor area of about 350m2.
The homeowner couple had lived and worked for quite a long time in European countries such as the Netherlands, Italy, France, and England. Therefore, they both wanted to design a luxurious house, but with a gentle, colorful feel of the European countryside.
According to architect Vu Anh Viet, the interior space of the apartment is influenced by the British country style. A style that carries the culture of the British aristocracy, characterized by diversity in color and style of furniture.
"I simply painted a colorful picture of Europe that the homeowner experienced together and then returned to have a happy home and family like today. The exterior of the house is tinged with the time of Rome, the interior space is a colorful picture like coming out of a fairy tale by James Matthew Barrie", said architect Vu Anh Viet.
The living room space is a combination of olive green, a little pink from the armchairs and Chinoiserie ceramic motifs (Eastern Asian style motifs).
This gives the room a European countryside atmosphere but still has a bit of an Asian feel with ceramics or copper details on the glass. The olive green color evokes an English fairy tale.
The kitchen also repeats the blue ceramic motif to create a connection between the kitchen space and the overall villa.
