Commending 100 typical advanced models in the work of promoting learning and talent

BAC NINH - On the morning of November 12, the Bac Ninh Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a meeting, discussion, and commendation of outstanding learning models in 2025. Attending the conference were comrades: Le Manh Hung, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promotion of Education; Nguyen Nhan Chinh, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches; representatives of the Association for Promotion of Education of communes, wards, units, and schools in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Nhan Chinh and leaders of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education commended collectives with achievements in promoting education and talents.

Bac Ninh Provincial Association for Promotion of Education was established under Decision No. 322 on the basis of merging Bac Giang Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and Bac Ninh Provincial Association for Promotion of Education (old).

In recent times, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education has always been proactive and active in advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue many directive documents and coordinate with relevant levels and sectors in innovating the Association's activities, doing a good job of promoting education and talents, and building a learning society.

The work of rewarding, supporting and awarding scholarships to excellent students and students in difficult circumstances continues to be maintained. The Association actively mobilizes, builds and develops the scholarship and talent promotion fund, which has reached more than 308 billion VND to date.

Mr. Le Manh Hung, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (right) presented support to students affected by storms and floods in Bac Ninh province.

From July 2025 to now, the Association has mobilized businesses and philanthropists to support students in difficult circumstances in the province with an amount of more than 600 million VND; supported the construction, inauguration and effective operation of Than Nhan Trung Library in Nenh ward; organized seminars to improve the quality of education and talent promotion work; supported localities and units to successfully organize the Congress to establish the Grassroots Education Promotion Association.

The work of building and developing the association organization and members has always been of interest. The Bac Ninh Provincial Association for Promotion of Education has more than 1.4 million members, accounting for 38.8% of the province's population. The movement to build "Learning Families", "Learning Clans", "Learning Communities", and "Learning Units" has developed rapidly. The province currently has more than 717,000 "Learning Families", more than 8,000 "Learning Clans", nearly 2,800 "Learning Communities", more than 1,700 "Learning Units" and more than 333,000 "Learning Citizens".

At the Conference, delegates focused on clarifying the results achieved, difficulties, obstacles, and recommendations that need to be resolved, sharing, replicating, and spreading good models, creative and effective ways in implementing the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society.

Speaking at the conference, comrades Le Manh Hung and Nguyen Nhan Chinh congratulated and commended the achievements of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education at all levels in the past time. To improve the quality of education promotion, talent promotion, and building a learning society in Bac Ninh province, the comrades requested the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education to continue promoting membership development, perfecting, consolidating, and improving the quality of activities of grassroots Association organizations; effectively deploying and implementing the movements "Digital Education Promotion", "Green Education Promotion" in the new period; improving the quality of education promotion models, especially the Learning Citizen model.

Build and manage the scholarship fund effectively; maintain scholarship programs for students in difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies; promptly commend and reward groups and individuals who have made many contributions to the work of promoting education, talent, and building a learning society.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education awarded 100 million VND in support to students in localities of Bac Ninh province affected by storms and floods; the Association for Promoting Education of Bac Ninh province awarded Certificates of Merit to 61 groups, 31 families and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in promoting education, promoting talents, and building a learning society in 2025; a number of units and enterprises donated to the Fund for Promoting Education and Talents of Bac Ninh province.
