In Kon Tum province, there are nearly 7,700 people with disabilities and nearly 74,000 children in especially difficult circumstances. In recent times, the Provincial Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and the Support of People with Disabilities has played a good role in connecting, calling for sponsorship, supporting, and accompanying people with disabilities and children in especially difficult circumstances. From 2024 to May 2025, the Association mobilized individuals, organizations, and philanthropists to donate about 6 billion VND in cash and in kind; organized sponsorship activities for over 14,650 people with disabilities, orphans, and children in difficult circumstances, including assistance to improve living conditions, medical support, and education. Through this, it not only helps the less fortunate to rise up in life, towards a brighter future, but also strongly spreads the spirit of humanity, building a good community, full of love.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and the Support of the Disabled awarded 100 outstanding disabled and disadvantaged students in 2025 with a total value of 20 million VND. Organizations and businesses presented many gifts to outstanding disabled and disadvantaged students. These awards are to recognize and commend the efforts, striving and attempts of the students in studying and training, at the same time, creating a playground for them to celebrate International Children's Day June 1, 2025 joyfully and meaningfully./.
