Billiards: Tran Quyet Chien competes with Vietnam's top players

Vietnam's top billiards players, including Tran Quyet Chien, will compete at the HBSF - MIN Table 2025 Championship.

The HBSF - MIN Table 2025 Championship is the grand final (HBSF Final 2025) of the 2025 season, part of the HBSF Tour system organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation. This playground is likened to the "World Cup of Vietnamese billiards", gathering the best male and female players in the country along with a number of international guests. HBSF Final is the last tournament of the year for players to compete for the HBSF season championship.

The tournament takes place from December 1 to 5, with 170 athletes competing in 4 categories including: men's and women's 3-cushion carom, men's and women's 9-cushion pool. Notably, HBSF Final 2025 brings together the top Vietnamese players in all categories such as Tran Quyet Chien, Bao Phuong Vinh, Chiem Hong Thai (3-cushion carom), Duong Quoc Hoang, Nguyen Khanh Hoang, Tat Duy Kien, Nguyen Hoang Minh Tai (pool)... In addition, this round promises to be more exciting with the participation of a number of guest faces from Japan and Korea.

The final HBSF tournament in 2025 continues to affirm its appeal and scale with attractive prizes for 4 competitions. In the men's 3-cushion carom event, the champion receives 100 million VND, the runner-up receives 40 million VND, and the two third-place players receive 15 million VND each. The secondary prizes of the 3-cushion carom event such as best game and excellent series receive 5 million VND each.

In the men's 9-ball pool category, first prize winners receive 70 million VND, second prize winners receive 30 million VND, and two third-place winners receive 10 million VND each. Players ranked from 4 to 8 receive 3 million VND each.

The prizes for the women's 3-cushion carom and women's 9-cushion pool are equal: 20 million VND for first prize, 10 million VND for second prize, 4 million VND/person for two players sharing third place. In addition, in the women's 3-cushion carom category, the prizes for best game and excellent series receive 2 million VND/prize.
