Corps 15: Training on building and implementing a performance evaluation system

Participating in the training were comrades in the Party Committee and Command of Army Corps 15; leaders and commanders of affiliated agencies and units, along with 170 professional officers and staff.

The lecturers are business consultants from PMT Consulting and Training Joint Stock Company ( Da Nang ).

Colonel Nguyen Hong Lam, Deputy Commander of the 15th Army Corps, gave a speech directing the conference.

During 3 days, students are equipped with a system of knowledge and practice on the process of building, deploying, evaluating and adjusting the KPI system (Key Performance Indicator - index to evaluate work efficiency); group discussion, and doing application exercises on the computer.

This is a step to concretize the KPI implementation plan in the Corps, aiming to improve management capacity and production and business efficiency.

In his opening speech, Colonel Nguyen Hong Lam, Deputy Commander of the 15th Corps, emphasized: “The development and implementation of the KPI system is not only a technical tool to evaluate work efficiency, but also an important step in innovating the methods of leadership, command and management of enterprises. KPI helps to specifically measure the level of task completion, quantify efficiency, increase fairness, transparency and personal responsibility throughout the system.”

Colonel Nguyen Hong Lam pointed out 5 key groups of tasks: Correct awareness, high determination, quick action; building KPIs close to the actual tasks of each agency and unit; the head is directly responsible for building and approving the KPI system; linking implementation with inspection, supervision, emulation and reward work; implementing substantively, avoiding formalities, taking actual effectiveness as a measure.
