On March 7, the leader of the People's Committee of Dau Tieng District ( Binh Duong ) said that the Can Nom Lake Eco-tourism Resort Service Area (Can Nom Lake Tourist Area) was planned (scale 1/5,000) in Thanh An Commune (Dau Tieng District), with a scale of 1,153 hectares. Of which, Can Nom Lake with an area of 240 hectares is the second largest freshwater reservoir in Binh Duong (after Dau Tieng Lake ).
Can Nom Lake with many rich ecosystems

Can Nom Lake is a large irrigation project, an important reservoir for the agricultural area in the west of Dau Tieng district. The lakeside wetland ecosystem is also home to many species of organisms.
From Can Nom Lake, water flows along Can Nom stream, through Ben Tranh hamlet (Thanh An commune), through a large rubber forest and then into the Saigon River, creating a beautiful natural landscape.

Surrounding Can Nom Lake are vast rubber forests. During the changing season, the entire area is dyed red and yellow by the leaves, making it an ideal place to take romantic, poetic photos like in Korea.

In addition, Can Nom Lake also raises many different types of fish for tourists and visitors to fish without having to pay any fees.

According to the proposal of Dau Tieng District People's Committee, Can Nom Lake Tourist Area is expected to be planned with functional areas such as: Eco-tourism and resort service development area; high-tech agricultural tourism service development area; Public service works area; commercial service complex; golf course area...
Can Nom Lake dam is over 700m long.

Can Nom Lake Tourist Area has the maximum capacity to serve from 24,000 to 92,000 people per day. Providing jobs for about 16,000 direct and indirect workers.
Dau Tieng District's goal by 2030 is to attract about 1.5 million visitors/year (including domestic and international tourists).
