According to a quick report from the Binh Giang District Department of Internal Affairs, on November 10, 32 out of 88 villages and residential areas (accounting for 36.3%) in the district held community meetings with over 50% of household representatives attending. Community meetings were held simultaneously in all villages and residential areas in the district from 7:30 a.m. Ke Sat Town is the only locality in Binh Giang District where all residential areas held community meetings with over 50% of household representatives attending.
The election results showed 31 elected cases and 1 unelected case.
Because the community meeting did not have more than 50% of household representatives present, the remaining 56 villages switched to organizing the distribution of ballots to collect opinions from each household. The distribution of ballots to collect opinions is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 of the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level and Article 4 of Decree No. 59 dated August 14, 2023.
According to the plan, the villages will develop a detailed plan for organizing the distribution of questionnaires to collect households' opinions. Specifically, the plan will be issued no later than November 11; organize the distribution of questionnaires to collect opinions no later than November 13 and complete the collection of questionnaires no later than November 17.
