Binh Tan: One more new primary and secondary school established

This is one of the efforts to increase the number of schools at the general education level of the People's Committee of Binh Tan District, in the context that the number of students per class in this district is still a difficult problem.

VSchool Primary and Secondary School is located at No. 1, Street No. 1, An Lac A Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, on a large land area. ^5,000m2 . The school has 16 classrooms, 8 subject rooms, 1 library, ^2,000m2 sports field with swimming pool, basketball court, badminton court, soccer court, pickleball...

The school enrolls students from grades 1 to 9. This year the school plans to enroll 200 elementary school students and 100 middle school students, with a commitment to only 25 students per class.

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Chien - Chairman of the school board - said that in the first year of enrollment, the school has a policy of reducing 50% of tuition fees for the first 60 cases of parents registering students.

"We want to bring students a happy school. There they will be well cared for and nurtured in a friendly, inspiring, and creative learning environment... The school has a boarding program that ensures food hygiene and safety, air-conditioned lunch rooms, and clean blankets and mattresses.

In particular, the school offers completely free summer programs, such as pre-primary programs, soccer clubs, basketball, swimming, music, theater, etc. Because we are consistent that each student has uniqueness with many hidden abilities that need to be unlocked by the school and family," added Dr. Nguyen Dinh Chien.

Binh Tan District strives to build more schools

Binh Tan District is one of the localities in Ho Chi Minh City that lacks the most classrooms at primary and secondary levels. According to estimates, by the end of 2024, this district will lack about 1,266 classrooms at these levels.

Over the past year, Binh Tan has become the leading district in implementing the 4,500 classroom project of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. In 2024, this district invested in building 7 new schools, and the plan is to invest in building 16 schools in 2025.
