YG Entertainment said Blackpink surpassed the milestone of 90 million subscribers on the group's official YouTube channel at 5:36 a.m. on July 17.
As planned, Blackpink will perform at My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ) on July 29 and 30.
This "record" was achieved within 7 years and 1 month since they founded the channel in June 2016. Another notable achievement was in July 2020, Blackpink became the first artist (not primarily using English) to achieve a position in the Top 5 on YouTube, surpassing famous pop icons such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Marshmello, solidifying their position as the world's number one artist.
Thus, in just over a year, by September 2021, Blackpink had risen to the prestigious position of being the artist with the highest number of YouTube subscribers worldwide.
Blackpink's loyal fan base continues to grow. The girl group's official YouTube channel has amassed a staggering 32.2 billion views. Of the group's 43 videos , the most notable is the music video for "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du ," which has nearly 2.1 billion views.
This makes Blackpink the first K-pop group to reach this milestone. Other notable videos include: Kill This Love with 1.8 billion views, BOOMBAYAH with 1.6 billion views, How You Like That performance video with 1.4 billion views and As If It's Your Last with 1.3 billion views.

Blackpink are currently on their second world tour, Born Pink , to promote their studio album Born Pink . Once again, Blackpink continues to break records.
They recently performed a sold-out show at the Stade De France in France, becoming the first girl group to do so. However, French newspaper Le Parisien published a negative review of Blackpink’s performance, leading to a wave of protests from fans on social media.
Blackpink "followers" protested Marie Poussel's unprofessional and disrespectful attitude, as the female journalist rated the concert as "unworthy". Many fans pointed out the "misogynistic and xenophobic" tone of the article. They demanded an apology.

The Born Pink tour is scheduled to end on August 26, 2023, with 10 stops and 64 shows. Blackpink will be performing two shows in Vietnam. Blackpink's management company announced that the group will perform at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) on July 29 and 30.
On August 11, 2023, Blackpink will have performances in the US, starting at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford; followed by Allegiant (Paradise); Oracle Park (San Francisco) and finally Dodger. (Los Angeles), where Blackpink's world tour ends on August 26, 2023.
