On behalf of the working delegation, Colonel Tran Huu Ich shared the difficulties the hospital encountered during the recent floods; encouraged the hospital's staff and doctors to strive to overcome difficulties and do a good job of medical examination and treatment.
On this occasion, the City Military Command and sponsoring units supported Quang Nam Regional General Hospital with 100 million VND to overcome damage caused by floods.
In addition, Colonel Tran Huu Ich visited and presented the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department with 5 million VND; and presented gifts to 5 seriously ill patients being treated at the department, each with 1 million VND, to encourage them to overcome difficulties and recover their health soon to return to their families.
Previously, during the flood season at the end of October, the City Military Command actively supplied necessities to officers, doctors, and patients being treated at Quang Nam Regional General Hospital.
After the flood receded, the unit quickly mobilized more than 300 officers and soldiers along with vehicles and equipment to support the hospital in cleaning and disinfecting.
Faced with the fact that the hospital still has many degraded items and medical equipment that needs to be repaired and supplemented, Colonel Tran Huu Ich affirmed: The City Military Command always accompanies, shares and will continue to allocate funding; at the same time, coordinate with sponsors and philanthropists to support Quang Nam Regional General Hospital to gradually purchase more necessary equipment, ensuring the best conditions for patient treatment.
