Lam Dong Provincial Military Command mobilized emergency forces to support people in flooded areas of Tuy Phong.

On the morning of November 2, the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command said it had urgently directed local coordination forces to promptly support people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods in village 2, Tuy Phong commune.

Previously, due to prolonged heavy rain, water from Phan Dung and Song Long Song lakes flowed downstream, causing about 40 households in hamlets 2 and 3 to be deeply flooded. On the night of November 1, the Command of Defense Zone 5 mobilized the commune military force to coordinate with local forces to evacuate people to safety at the commune People's Committee headquarters.

By this morning, the water in village 2 had receded. The military force continued to coordinate with departments, agencies, organizations and people to clean up and disinfect the environment.

At the family of LNBT (born in 2012) - a victim of the flash flood on the night of November 1 - the Provincial Military Command sent 15 officers and soldiers directly to support and help the family overcome difficulties.

Quickly clean up residential areas after the flood recedes

In flooded areas, army forces quickly arrived, coordinated with local militia and self-defense forces to rescue and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.

In areas where the water has receded, officers and soldiers urgently clean up mud and soil, disinfect the environment, prioritize cleaning schools, medical stations and residential areas, helping people stabilize their lives soon.
