At the same time, they deployed storm prevention and combat plans, ready to mobilize forces and means to help people when the storm makes landfall in the city as well as provinces and cities in Military Region 3.

Faced with the complicated developments of the storm and the weather in the past few days, on behalf of the Party Committee and the head of the City Military Command, Colonel Bui Xuan Thang requested agencies and units to regularly update the developments of storm No. 3, strictly maintain the command, on-duty, disaster prevention and control - search and rescue regime according to regulations.

The Commander of the City Military Command requested the Regional Defense Commands to review and grasp the local situation; coordinate with local forces and functional agencies to inspect and review key river and sea dikes, areas at risk of landslides and flooding, and construction works, promptly advise local Party committees and authorities, and prepare forces and means to help people and fishermen respond to storms.

The City Military Command proactively coordinates with military units stationed in the area to prepare forces and vehicles to participate in responding to and overcoming storm consequences when ordered.
