Colonel Pham Van Dung, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region, directed the exercise.

The 1-side, 2-level CH-TM exercise is a comprehensive training form aimed at improving the level of CH-TM organization, application of principles and theories of commanders and agencies; coordination ability between forces; training command style, staff work... At the same time, fostering staff methods for local Party committees and authorities in defense states and complex defense-security situations.

The highlight of this year's exercise is the participation of the Border Guard Command, the Regional Defense Command and the 6th Infantry Regiment; the system of situations and handling plans is built in accordance with the characteristics of the tasks of the city's armed forces in the new period. Preparations, operational documents and coordination between forces are fully and closely implemented; the training framework grasps the situation, handles it flexibly, and is suitable to the requirements of the task.

During the monitoring process, the Military Region's Exercise Steering Committee has noted the advantages and pointed out some limitations so that the Hue City Military Command can continue to learn from experience and improve the organization of command and combat advice in the coming time. The one-sided CH-TM exercise, two levels of the Hue City Military Command has completed the set goals and requirements, ensuring safety in all aspects.
