The Ministry of Industry and Trade has officially issued Decision No. 235/QD-BCT approving the Ministry's Data Architecture Framework. This is a strategic step to standardize data management, storage, and exploitation, in line with the national digital transformation roadmap.

Legal basis and strategic direction
The data architecture framework is built upon key legal documents, including Decree No. 40/2025/ND-CP stipulating the functions and tasks of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development and national digital transformation.
Notably, this document also adheres closely to Decision No. 2439/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the National Data Architecture Framework and the Shared Data Dictionary (version 1.0). Compliance with these common standards helps ensure the consistency and interoperability of data between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the data systems of other state administrative agencies.
Developing digital economic infrastructure
Following the proposal of the Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, this Data Architecture Framework officially takes effect from the date of signing. It is considered a core tool for improving the efficiency of state management in the field of industry and trade, providing maximum support to units in exploiting digital data.
The Chief of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, and the heads of affiliated units are responsible for implementing the contents of this architectural framework. The introduction of the new regulations is expected to create a turning point in building a transparent data ecosystem, contributing to the sustainable development of the digital economy.
