Holding the gift in his hand, Mr. Pham Hiep, residing in Quarter 1, Tuy Hoa Ward, Dak Lak Province, emotionally said: "The recent flood caused my house to be deeply submerged, most of my property was damaged. The whole family had to flee the flood at night and luckily escaped. While panicking and fleeing the flood, my family was almost empty-handed. Today, receiving this gift, I am truly moved. Not only is it material support, but also the feeling of not being left behind. The people here are grateful for the kindness that thought of them during the most difficult days. The gift gives my family more confidence to try to rebuild our lives after the flood."
At Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station, representatives of Cong Ly Newspaper also presented gifts to the families of officers and soldiers affected by the storm, each worth 2 million VND to encourage the frontline forces to both perform their duties and overcome difficulties at home. The support became even more meaningful because of the concern for those on the frontline who are still struggling to perform their duties while the soldiers' families also suffered heavy losses due to the flood.
Major Tran Xuan Dien, a Control Officer at Hoa Tam Border Control Station, Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station, emotionally shared: “I was extremely moved when I received the gift from the sponsor. I will send this support directly to my family. My family was one of the households severely flooded in the recent flood, the water rose about 3.5m. Luckily, my parents escaped in time, but now the house is devastated, the property damage is huge. Although the family is still facing difficulties, we always determine that the task is the top priority. This concern and encouragement is a great source of motivation, helping us feel secure in our work and complete our tasks well.”
This activity demonstrates the spirit of sharing, social responsibility and companionship of sponsors towards flood victims and task forces, contributing to spreading humanistic values in the community.

According to the Dak Lak Border Guard Command, on the evening of November 26, Xuan Dai Border Guard Station, Dak Lak Border Guard transported 500 bottles of purified water (20 liters) to give to people in Binh Thanh Quarter, Xuan Dai Ward and Long Phuoc Dong Residential Group, Song Cau Ward, these are two areas deeply flooded during the recent flood. With the spirit of "Coming to the people when they need it", officers and soldiers brought small gifts, but they have great meaning and are practical and necessary at the present time when households are lacking water for daily use and drinking.
