On November 27, at Nhon Chau island commune, Nhon Chau Border Guard Station coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Committee of Nhon Chau commune and units and armed forces stationed in the area to form a delegation to visit, encourage and give 40 gifts to households affected by storms and floods.

Previously, Nhon Chau Border Guard Station had mobilized donations and organized the giving of 17 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND to families in difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people and families of soldiers affected by storms and floods. The unit also sent officers and soldiers to help people repair damaged houses and structures.

Also on November 27, Nhon Ly Border Guard Station coordinated with Hanoi Radio and Television Station and benefactors to present 150 gifts to people in flooded areas in Vinh Quang 2 village, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune.
Previously, on November 26, Quy Nhon Port Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to donate 5 tons of rice mobilized from benefactors to people in flooded areas in Ward 6 (Quy Nhon Dong Ward).

At the same time, in Cat Tien and Ngo May communes, Cat Khanh Border Guard Station coordinated with transport units to present 4.5 tons of rice and 100 gifts (each worth 800,000 VND) to people who suffered heavy losses in the recent floods.
In addition to visiting and giving relief gifts to people, Border Guard Stations also deployed forces to help those in need clean up, repair houses and buildings, and arrange furniture and belongings to stabilize their lives.

Recently, Nhon Ly Border Guard Station sent 12 officers and soldiers to help Mrs. Ho Thi Lan (90 years old, in My Trung village, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune) clean up mud, fallen trees, and repair the house.
“After the storm came the flood. The house’s roof was blown away, half of the pigsty and chicken coop collapsed, and all the trees in the garden were down. I was old and weak and could only sit and watch. Without the soldiers’ grandchildren coming to help, I don’t know when I would have finished,” said Mrs. Lan emotionally.
