The enthusiastic enlistment of these soldiers not only demonstrates the sense of responsibility of young people but also contributes to strengthening the resources for managing and protecting national sovereignty and border security.
At the meeting, Colonel Le Cong Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Lai Chau Border Guard Command, acknowledged and praised the self-discipline and determination of the soldiers. He emphasized that the military environment is a place for comprehensive training in political fortitude, moral character, organizational discipline, and professional conduct; it is also an opportunity for each soldier to mature and make practical contributions to their homeland and country.

The Deputy Political Commissar of the Lai Chau Border Guard Command urged the new recruits to quickly adapt to the living, studying, and training conditions at the unit; actively improve their physical fitness, enhance their border guard professional skills, and strictly abide by military discipline and state laws. Along with training, the soldiers were clearly guided on the role and responsibilities of the Border Guard force in the new situation, especially in combating various types of crime in border areas, participating in building the grassroots political system, helping people develop socio-economic conditions, alleviate poverty, and consolidate a strong "people's support" base.
On this occasion, the Lai Chau Border Guard Command presented 170 gifts to new recruits, demonstrating the timely care and encouragement of the unit's Party committee and commanders. Although the gifts were not of great monetary value, they carried profound spiritual significance, helping the soldiers feel secure and enthusiastic as they entered the military environment.
