
Pregnant woman Ho Thi Chon (21 years old) residing in Pa Ling village, Ta Rut commune, was 36 weeks pregnant and went into labor at 7:00 p.m. on October 29. Her family took her to the medical center to give birth. However, in the past few days, there has been heavy rain in the area, the culverts were flooded and could not be used, so her family took her to the Pa Lin military and civilian medical station for assistance in giving birth.
After examining and realizing that the pregnant woman had signs of difficult labor, A Vao Border Guard Station coordinated with the Dakrong Commune Health Center to prepare emergency forces and equipment in case of emergency, and move the pregnant woman to the center when the water receded. At 7:30 a.m. on October 30, the pregnant woman went into labor safely, giving birth to a baby boy weighing 3.3 kg, and the health of both mother and child was stable.
