Son La Border Guards give gifts to Lao border guards

On the afternoon of December 2, Son La Border Guard Stations held a meeting to congratulate the Lao border protection force on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Representatives of Son La Border Guard Stations organized a meeting and presented gifts to congratulate the border protection force of Laos.

At national border marker 207, in Chieng Khuong commune, Son La province, the Border Guard Stations of Chieng Khuong, Muong Cai, Muong Lan, under the Border Guard Command of Son La province organized a meeting to congratulate Border Protection Companies 212 and 213, the Military Command, Provincial Police and District Party Committee, People's Committee of Muong Et district, Huaphanh province, Laos on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025).

Son La province and Huaphanh province have a long border with many similarities, which is a favorable condition for the two sides to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation and exchange in many fields.

The activity of congratulating and giving gifts to the border protection force of Laos is organized annually by Son La Border Guard on the occasion of holidays and New Year of Laos.

Over the years, foreign affairs between Son La province and Huaphanh province have always been focused on, maintaining and expanding cooperative relations, regularly exchanging information between functional forces. Specifically, bilateral patrols, visits, and exchanges on holidays and Tet...

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Vietnamese Border Guard stations met with a number of border units at Milestone 207 and presented congratulatory gifts on this anniversary.

This is one of the border diplomacy activities, contributing to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general and Son La-Huaphanh province in particular. Thereby, continuing to strengthen cooperation, increasing mutual understanding, especially joining hands to protect the peaceful border for cooperation and development.
