On December 5, units under the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command simultaneously deployed many practical support activities such as building houses for affected households and giving gifts to help students overcome difficulties after floods, contributing to stabilizing life and ensuring social security in the area.
In Hoa Hiep ward, the Provincial Border Guard Command deployed forces to carry out "Quang Trung Campaign" to support the reconstruction of a house for Mr. Tran The Lam's family.
Mr. Tran The Lam, born in 1953, has a difficult family situation. He has lived alone for many years, relying on a few fields to support himself. Due to his old age and poor health, his already difficult life became even more difficult when the recent flood caused his house to completely collapse.
The house has an area of 44m2 , with officers and soldiers directly participating in the construction, transporting materials and coordinating with local authorities to ensure the progress and quality of the project. The project is expected to be completed in 45 days, creating conditions for Mr. Lam's family to soon stabilize their lives.

Also in Hoa Hiep ward, Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station presented 30 gifts from the Provincial Border Guard Command to students of Pham Van Dong Primary School and Nguyen Viet Xuan Primary School, helping them overcome difficulties after the flood and continue studying with peace of mind.
In Tuy An Dong commune, An Hai Border Guard Station presented 30 gifts to students of An Ninh Tay Primary School. The gifts demonstrate the Border Guard's concern for social security work, accompanying students in areas affected by natural disasters.

Previously, on December 3 and 4, units under the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the government, organizations and philanthropists to carry out many activities to support people affected by floods, with hundreds of gifts given to households, poor families and students in the area.
At Tuy An Dong commune, An Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with Ha Nam Volunteer Group to present 500 gifts to people in Phu Luong and Phu Son villages.
Also in Tuy An Dong commune, An Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Phu Dong ward ( Ho Chi Minh City) to present 160 gifts worth 70 million VND; at the same time, coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thuy ward (Lam Dong province) to present 40 gifts worth 20 million VND to the people of Phu Hoi village.

In Xuan Canh commune, Xuan Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with Phu Yen Firefly Charity Association and Quan The Am Pagoda (Soc Son, Hanoi City) to present 100 gifts, each consisting of 500,000 VND in cash and 1 tonic worth 100,000 VND, totaling 60 million VND to support households in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 13 and recent floods.
In Hoa Hiep Ward, Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station and the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command presented 10 gifts worth 18 million VND to support households whose houses collapsed or were severely damaged by floods. The gifts helped people overcome initial damage and soon stabilize their lives.

In Tuy Hoa ward, Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with Ninh Tinh Kindergarten to present 30 gifts from the support of benefactors to students whose families suffered heavy losses in the recent floods, contributing to encouraging them to overcome difficulties and continue studying with peace of mind.
The support programs continue to affirm the sense of responsibility and companionship of the Border Guard and organizations and benefactors in helping people in flood-affected areas overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon return to normal life.
